BMI Super Robust R1000 Spirit Level
Posted by Mark Hunter - October 14, 2010
It's just a spirit level, right? I have to confess, that's what I thought when Malcolm suggest we make a video about it. He claimed, however, that it was just any old spirit level, he claimed that, because it's the BMI Super Robust R1000 , it had "special properties"...
Basically, we have to concede that he had a point;
- 4-chamber 2mm aluminimum profile box section
- thick rubber end caps
- vial bubbles move 5x faster than those of ordinary levels, therefore inaccuracies can be recognised much sooner
But what do you think? Does it look the part, or is it all hype? Does a spirit level need "ultrasonic welded vials" that won't break/shatter/become dislodged when the level is dropped on the job site? Let us know in the comments or on Twitter or our Facebook Page.
