Walsall, West Midlands Wayne, joiner/shop fitter
- Overall a great piece of kit, would have given it 10 if it wasn't for the nails being so expensive. I work in Joinery and Shopfitting so it gets lots of use, it would also suit a one man carpenter of builder just as well.
The slight increase from 16g upto 15g makes a massive difference to the ho...
- Nothing to do with this great gun in itself, but the nails are hideously expensive!! They seem to be proprietary? They only take 25 degree nails, so Bostitch have you cornered into purchasing their own nails. So while the initial purchase of the gun is inexpensive you'll be paying out a lot more for nails than any other finish nailer on the market!
While the magazine is made of a hard plastic only time will tell as to its durability. The switch to lock the trigger and move between contact and sequential was at first a bit fiddly but you soon get used to it. The flip out plastic marker at the rear is a bit pointless, probably designed for the U.S. Market.
