BRAND NEW - Bosch GTR30CE Tile Router
Posted by Mark Hunter - October 18, 2010
Bosch are looking to seriously shake up the lives of tilers. At their recent Innovation Roadshow, they talked us through their new tile tools, of which the GTR 30CE tile router was the flag ship. Watch the video first and notice how long it takes to cut a hole straight though the tile in the Bosch GTD 1 professional tile dock;
The point of this tool is that it's going to cut through expensive, thick tiles without hassle and mess. The router itself is kitted out with a motor that gives you 650-watts of power resulting in up to 30,000rpm. This means that it's going to cut through tiles up to 30mm thick but you're going to do so without the risk of chipping, splitting or cracking the tile. Think about that the next time you're having a cut a Porcelanosa floor tile...
- Fitting pipes quickly
- Drilling holes in even the hardest stoneware or natural stone
- Precise cuts are possible with carbide milling cutter
- No need for water Drilling 6 and 8 mm holes for secondary fixings
- On-tool wrench storage
- Integrated dust port
Add a GOP250CE to your toolkit (along with the tile dock - see above) and, according to Bosch, suddenly your job is going to be a lot easier.
If you're a tiler, we want to hear from you about the Bosch GTR30CE tile router, leave your thoughts in the comments.
