Going body-only (or naked) is typically a sure fire way of saving some cash when you buy new tools. And that's the case with the DCL043. It's a body-only light, meaning you just need to slot in one of your existing DeWALT XR batteries.

As this is a spotlight, it's ideal for any DeWALT tool user who wants a super-bright light clipped onto their belt while they work. It's perfect for site work where you're in a first-fix environment and need to scope out the location.

The housing is tough (IP54 rated), with rubberised covering to protect the light should it be dropped or bashed about, and it benefits from a hoop on the back which will allow you to hang it up. And as the head can be angled through 6 settings, you'll be able to get the beam of light where you want it and need it to be.

The trigger allows you to choose from either 1 spot light, offering around 100 lumens, or all 4 LED spotlights, providing you with a dazzling 1000 lumens. And DeWALT promises around 10 hours of runtime from a 5Ah battery.

Once again, the DCL060 is a naked or body-only unit. Slot in one of your XR 18v batteries and you're ready to go.

It's the ideal worklight for those in a first-fix environment; place it where you're working and angle the rotatable lamp to where it'll give you the best illumnation and you'll have 1500 lumens provided in a clean and even beam.

Run-time is respectable, with DeWALT claiming 3.3 hours when you're running of a 5Ah battery. The lamp is protected from overheating by a large heat-sink, and the unit itself is in a tough housing with rubber feet to keep it stable.

When you're transporting the light, turn the lamp off. This protects it from damage in transit.
