MRSA Free Twinslot Shelving from Newtech
Posted by Neil Bruce - February 12, 2010
Everyone’s seen that shelving you get down the hardware store or the local DIY sheds. You know, the steel uprights with all the holes in them, the little brackets you fit into them before attaching a shelf (see picture)
Well, Newtech do a range of this shelving but the outstanding feature is that they are powder coated with a material called Interpon AB and this inhibits the growth of bacteria so theres not going to be a problem with things like MRSA.
So, this product is great for places like hospitals and schools where the spread of germs is a no-no.
The uprights and the brackets are fully compatible with the conventional Drop & Lock system of shelving so no need to worry if you've already got some bits and pieces.
They're manufactured from the best quality mild steel with the powder coating on.
All you need to install these shelves is a screwdriver, some screws and a spirit level.
