My Thoughts on Our Bosch Trip
Posted by Mark Hunter - December 02, 2009
Neil's already blogged about our recent trip to the Denham HQ of Bosch, so I thought I'd chip my own tuppence worth in.
First of all, a big thanks for the Bosch staff who agreed to get involved with our social media productions; Tony, Eric and Dip. Tony took fantastic care of us during the two days, and I'm personally very grateful for his hospitality; he's a great ambassador for Bosch.
Eric proved to be the sort person social media producers never tire of working with. First of all, he knows his stuff, whether it's blue or green, there didn't seem to be any product that Eric didn't have a gem of info for. For us bloggers, this is fantastic as it helps set the Toolstop Power Tool Cook Book blog head and shoulders above the rest, as will be seen as we start to drip feed Eric's videos and podcasts onto the 'net. Secondly, he's no newbie in front of the camera, having appeared on QVC involved in other online video productions.
Dip, Bosch's product manager for measuring devices, was very helpful and was willing to be interviewed for our last audio podcast, as well as working with us to shoot demos of the lastest Bosch measuring tools. Stay subscribed to the blog for more info.
All in all, it was a real pleasure to spend two days at Bosch. Their premises in Denham were as you'd expect for a German company; clean, efficient and technologically advanced.
