Norbar's New Premises - an Exclusive Sneak Peak
Posted by Mark Hunter - April 26, 2013
Norbar is a company that prides itself on pride. It's proud to be part of the UK manufacturing industry, it's proud to be based in Banbury, it's proud to invest in design, manufacturing and quality control technology.
But above all, it's perhaps proud to be the company that created the torque wrench.
And from that, it has the reputation as the world's leading torque specialist, from it's UK-based manufacturing plant, through to it's torque tool calibration services, hosted in its original Banbury factory.
All of that is in the process of change, however.
Well, one part of it is in the process of change.
It's hard to imagine Norbar ever becoming complacent about quality, about calibration, about innovation; having spent two days with the team in Banbury, I can personally attest to the laser-like focus the company has on these 3 key drivers. Rather, the one element that's in the process of change is its geographic location.
After many years, Norbar is moving a large of part of its manufacturing processes to a new location.
However, the pride of being based in Banbury has meant the company looked long and hard for the right premises in the right location, waiting and waiting until a facility that matched the company's ethos and growth plans could be found. In Banbury.
We were privileged to be given a tour of the new facility, you can watch it exclusively on Toolstop TV here.
Toolstop is pleased to stock plenty of Norbar torque wrenches, just click this link to see the range.
