Our Apprentice of the Year is Announced

It's time to announce the winner of our first Apprentice of the Year competition!
We asked you to tell us why you - or your nominee of choice - should be recognised as the best apprentice in the UK and be in with a chance of winning £2000 worth of tools. The entries came thick and fast, as did the first round of voting.
That round gave us 6 entrants to put through to the final stage. This time it would be our customer's who would vote on the entry they felt should win the prize.
So, from the list of 6 names we have one clear winner. One winner who, as it turned out, gathered over half the total votes!
Without further ado, the 2013 Toolstop Apprentice of the Year is...
Ben was nominated by Sean Mills who told us that Ben's travel costs are nearly half his wages, his tool box is full of hand-me-downs and repaired tools, and he's a true example of why UK companies should be investing in apprentices.
Sean says that winning would be a great way to reward Ben and encourage him to keep progressing.
Many congratulations to Ben and a big thanks to Sean for nominating him.
If you're in the mood for another competition, stay tuned for our Toolstop Power Tool of the Year!
