RIDGID micro CA-100 - World Exclusive Video from the Power Tool Spy
Posted by Mark Hunter - March 02, 2011
Our famous power tools spies have been out in force recently, sneaking across European borders and infiltrating the upper echelons of power tool company marketing meetings to bring us the big scoops on new products before anyone else.
And then Neil happened to spot what looked like a brand new model of SeeSnake hanging on a peg in the RIDGID demo room in Leuven.
Upon enquiry (ie. he took it down and exclaimed, "oh aye, what's this, then?") he discovered from the RIDGID marketing guys that it was a top secret prototype of the third generation of SeeSnake inspection cameras; the much awaited CA-100.
After a bit of cajoling, and then threatening, on Neil's part, we were allowed, tentatively it has to be said, to shoot the top-secret Power Tool Spy footage you see below.
We're really impressed with what RIDGID have achieved in this, the third generation of SeeSnake. And as the video shows, it's a leap in evolution from the previous model.
What stands out the most? Well, it could be the 4 LED's which, as you can see, give off a stunning amount of light. Or it could be the ability to rotate the image displayed on the screen, a feature that shows RIDGID are listening to customer feedback.
But we think it's probably the giant screen that makes this worth your consideration. It isn't just really big (3.5"), it's also really bright and very clear. Essential features on a device such as this.

In the meantime, absorbe, process and enjoy this world exclusive from the Toolstop Power Tool Spy; RIDGID® micro CA-100.
