SIP 07904 Biscuit Jointer 240 volt, complete with dust extraction facility and heavy duty carry case.
4 mm semi-circular grooves are cut into both pieces of wood at the jointing point.
Glue is applied, and a small biscuit of compressed Beech is inserted.
The adhesive swells the fibres of the biscuit, causing it to expand laterally in the slot and add a physical locking reinforcement to the glue joint itself, creating an incredibly strong joint.
