In this Toolstop Guide, we'll be looking at two of Triton's clamping systems:

Triton's SuperJaws are portable vices and support stands for any work environment and offer you loads of flexibility. Watch David Stanton enthuse about his here.

Let's start with the Triton SJA200 SuperJaws - click to shop

It's a portable clamping system that supports up to 100kg on top and will provide you with a clamping force of 1000kg- which is quite simply incredible from a clamping system this lightweight and compact, weighing in at just 16kg! The jaws themselves have protective, slip resistant grips meaning that once your workpiece is clamped, it stays clamped.

By reversing the jaws you can hold work pieces up to 950mm long, ideal for most jobsite or workshop situations. And the clamp/release system is purposefully easy, relying on a foot level which leaves both hands free for full control over whatever it is you're clamping.

Now let's look at the Triton SJA300 SuperJaws XXL - click to shop

As before we find the same easy-to-use "hands-free" clamping system and the same non-slip jaws. Like the SJA200, it folds down into a compact, easy to carry form factor meaning you can take it anywhere and have the ability to support up to 250kg of weight coupled with 1000kg of foot operated clamping force.

This, coupled with the extra-wide tripod base, makes it perfect for stable support for big, heavy workpieces regardless of where you need to work.

Both the SJA200 and SJA300 fold flat quickly and easily, and once they're folded up they take up on 30 square cm of floor or van space! And lifting the SJA300 XXL to wherever you need it to be isn't challening as it weighs only 19kg.

It's worth pointing out another great product from Triton that will compliment whichever SuperJaws clamp you add to your kit, and that's the MSA200 multi-stand. Like that SuperJaws, it benefits from an extra-wide tripod base for stability and you can quickly adjust the height from 635mm to 940mm.

The head will clamp your material and will pivot from horizontal to vertical or you can use it to as addition support for any long work pieces you need stability for. Find out more here.
