This is a guest post by Erin Couch, the sales and marketing manager for the North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA), an organization that supports and helps independent hardware store retailers become better and more profitable merchants. When she is not painting chalkboard walls, she enjoys hiking with her dog, scouring antique stores for one-of-a-kind pieces and learning the ropes of becoming a DIYer. When I was little, my grandparents had this fantastic chalkboard in the hallway of their farmhouse. As a very creative, and sometimes ornery six-year old left in the deep country of Northern Indiana, the chalkboard was a perfect outlet for me to stay out of my Grandmothers hair and away from trouble.
We've enjoyed playing around with the new Metabo power tools that have made their way into our clutches recently. Thus far what we've seen have been about grunt, power and brute strength, married to technological finesse and ingenuity.
I heard some rumblings on Twitter and Facebook that our North American cousins are getting themselves out of bed early today to head to the polling stations.
Another great product from Makita's 36v cordless range, this time it's theMakita BUC250RD 36V Cordless li-ion Chainsaw. Who says chainsaws need to be massive, unwieldy brutes when they can be as compact, svelte and utterly effective as this one?
Does what it says on the tin, to coin a phrase; a twin pack of DeWalt's new sub-compact, 10.8v lithium-ion tools. If you missed our demo of this new range of tools from DeWalt, you can find it here.
