Imex 006-SP0013 Storm Professional Metric/Imperial Steel Tape Measure with open 'Z' frame case design
This Imex 006-SP0013 tape measure is a high-end, robust and super-accurate steel 100m long/surveyors' tape measure engineered for the professional user. The long steel blade comes complete with a nylon laminated coating which helps deliver outstanding life span. The main point users stick with this tape over fibreglass one is that this steel tape does not stretch or rust. Featuring both metric and imperial graduations (metric on one side, imperial on the other) along its length for maximum convenience and topping out at 13mm wide for easy reading. The blade is easily cleaned and maintained thanks to the open 'Z' frame case design. The tape has a great soft handle grip and a cushioned end that stopped the tape hitting hard at the end when winding it in. The blade is withdrawn back into the case by a dual-action winder, right-handed and left-handed folding handle and is rewound incredibly smoothly thanks to its balanced, scaled diameter blade drum. Unlike most long tapes (or surveyors' tapes as they're commonly known) this product has a blade locking mechanism providing for a firm blade hold.
