The Makita DHP459 Cordless Hammer Driver Drill has been developed especially for light to medium duty drilling and fastening applications. It has a very short body which makes it ideal for working in tight situations. It is powered by a Brushless DC Motor which is maintenance free, no more replacing brushes. This also has the added benefit of enabling lower amperage and heat production which increases power and reduces battery wear. Very useful in hard industrial applications requiring long continuous use. Basically more work amount on a single full battery charge. Included are 2 x BL1840 4Ah batteries and the DC18RC Charger which will deliver a full charge in approx 30 minutes. You'll never run out of power with this kit.
