The Makita HS6601 Circular Saw is a great all round piece of kit which will easily hold its own in professional applications. This industrial tool, on offer at a budget price, has all ball-bearing construction for extended service life. Based on the tried and tested Makita 5604R, this improved successor is fitted with a 165mm diameter tungsten tipped saw blade which gives you a cutting depth of 54.5mm @ 90° and 37.5mm @ 45°. It is supplied with a side fence to make the trimming of boards and doors etc easier. There is a Dust Nozzle to enable efficient dust extraction when hooked up to a vacuum.
