We will endeavour to provide as much information within the content of our product pages to allow you to make an informed decision on your purchase. However, should you require to return any product, we will allow you to do so within 30 days of the day of receipt (e.g. if the item is an unwanted gift), assuming that you contact us within 14 days of delivery to notify us of your intent to return.

How do I return an item?

  • If you wish to return an item(s), go to the 'orders' section in your account or click here. If you don't already have a Toolstop account, you will have to create one. You can contact us on 0800 107 8665 or email info@toolstop.co.uk for any further assistance.
  • You will have to arrange the return of the goods yourself. We advise using a reputable carrier on a tracked service. We ask you to ensure that the goods are returned to us in their unopened, original packaging in a saleable condition.
  • Please include your original order number within the return package so it can be quickly identified on receipt at our warehouse.
  • If the item meets the correct standard then we will refund the total cost of the goods.

How do I return a faulty or incorrect item?

  • If we have supplied an item incorrectly, or if it is damaged when received or is faulty when received, you can return your item within 14 days. To return your item(s), please go to the 'orders' section in your account or click here.
  • If you have had your item for more than 14 days then you can organise a return using your manufacturers warranty.
  • If you require any further assistance please contact us on 0800 107 8665 or info@toolstop.co.uk.
  • Toolstop will arrange the uplift of faulty or incorrectly supplied goods. Should we, after inspection of said items, be satisfied as to the alleged defects, we will either replace the goods or arrange a refund of the full value of the goods and any carriage costs incurred.
  • It is advisable to inspect the goods prior to signing for delivery. If you can see any damage whatsoever to the packaging please sign for the goods as damaged. If this is not possible please ensure you sign for the goods unexamined to allow us to take any claims up with our delivery partners if necessary.

Does my item come with a warranty?

  • All of our tools come with a manufacturers warranty. You can find out about each manufacturers warranty rocedure on our warranty info page. We encourage you to follow the instructions on these pages which will normally direct you to the manufacturers helpline as this is normally the fastest way of getting your warranty problem resolved.
  • PLEASE NOTE: In the event your product develops a fault within the warranty period but after our 14 day no quibble return period, and Toolstop handles your warranty procedure on your behalf, a handling charge will apply and any customs charges or duty must be paid by the customer.

Drop ship items return policy 

  • Some of our products are drop-shipped directly to you from the supplier. Currently some Scheppach, some SIP, some Draper and all Zipper and Hyundai items are drop-shipped. Drop-ship items can be spotted by the slightly longer delivery time (e.g. 2-3 days rather than next working day). With these items there will be instructions on the packaging for how to return them. If there are no instructions please contact Toolstop on 0800 107 8665 or email info@toolstop.co.uk for further information. Drop ship items must be returned within 30 days.
  • Please note that drop ship items, due to their size and weight, will incur a restocking fee if you decide to cancel or return your order in order to help cover carriage costs. Please read the full product description to make sure you choose the correct item before ordering to help eliminate any additional charges.
  • For Hyundai products, a minimum 5% fee will be charged for items weighing up to 70kg. For items over 70kgs, you would be liable to pay the full cost of return courier charges.
  • For SIP products, a restocking fee at 15% will be deducted from the credit note, with a minimum carriage charge of £10.
  • For Scheppach and Zipper products, a restocking fee of 12% of the price paid for the item(s) purchased will apply.
  • For Armorgard products, a restocking fee of 20% of the product cost will apply, as will a collection charge depending on size of the product and the collection location.
  • For Draper dropship items, if the product is unwanted or ordered incorrectly then there is a re-stocking charge. This varies between 10-20% depending on the product. For faulty goods that are covered under warranty, Draper will arrange to collect/fix/exchange where needed at their cost. *Please note that we stock a huge range of Draper products in our warehouse that are shipped from ourselves. Dropship items will be clearly marked on the product page.
  • You can contact Toolstop to arrange the return of drop ship goods, though this is handled directly by the supplier.
