The two-section ladder raises and lowers with the trapdoor.
Installation is pretty much straightforward. Pivot arms and heavy-duty springs are attached to the loft floor, the ladder also attaches to the hatch edge and upper face of the hatch door. All the fittings required for installation are delivered with the ladders as is an operating pole for convenient and safe ladder lowering.
