Scheppach PRECISA 3.0 - a Toolstop GUIDE
Posted by Mark Hunter - May 02, 2013
Scheppach, as a company, is known worldwide for it's speciality in woodworking machines. We visited their base in the UK recently so that we could see for ourselves - and for you - what all the fuss is about.
This article is about one Scheppach's range of sawbenches, the PRECISA 3.0, click here to learn more, get the full spec and our best price.
Scheppach are claiming big things about this sawbench, in particular that it will "perform any cut with precision and stability".
What we noticed when we saw it "in the flesh" was how adapatable it is. For example, the dimensions of the PRECISA 3.0 are considerable:
- Length: 1550mm
- Width: 700mm
- Saw table height: 850mm
Added to the size you need to consider its capacities to cut:
- Saw blade height: 0 to 90mm
- Saw blade swinging range: 0° to 45°
The saw blade fitted has a Ø of 280 mm with 40 teeth, spinning at 4100 rpm, the speed being highly controlled by the motor to give you clean, neat cuts.
Another great benefit of the PRECISA 3.0 is how configurable the table is via the extensions supplied. You can make the table wider and longer - or not - to suit the size of the space you have to work in.
We've made a video explaining this benefit to you, which you can watch here on Toolstop TV.
It also comes supplied with some great accessories which really will make it possible for you to make a huge variety of cuts with fantastic accuracy.
