The Irwin TM444S5 Blue Chip Chisels have high impact, square section blue plastic handles that have been radiused for a comfortable grip. The bolster fitted blades are manufactured from top quality carbon steel for maximum durability and long life. Their impact-resistant handle will absorb the occasional hammer blow although are designed for use with a mallet. The blade is hardened up to the last 25mm for long working life and annealed for an edge that is slow to blunt yet easy to sharpen.
