Makita DUH601RT 18V LXT Brushless Hedge Trimmer (1 x 5.0Ah Battery)
The DUH601RT is a compact and lightweight cordless Hedge Trimmer, with a 600mm cutting edge, powered by an 18V Li-ion LXT slide type battery. It is fitted with a brushless motor, has soft start and a 3 speed plus trigger for optimum control. Constant speed control maintains steady speed under load, to deliver up to 4,400 spm for faster cutting. The DUH601RT has a 5 position rotating rear handle and a double action switch for increased operator safety. A battery protection circuit protects the battery from damage due to over-discharge, overload current and over-heating. The DUH601RT features a reverse rotation button to free the blade if jammed by thick branches, and blade tip guard to protect the blade from unnecessary wear. Triple edged cutting teeth catch and firmly hold branches with curved blades to reduce friction resistance and suppress energy loss for increasing run time. The machine comes with a 5.0Ah Battery, DC18RC Charger and a Blade Guard. The DUH601 is not compatible with G-Series batteries.
