The HiKOKI C 18DBAL has the next generation of brushless motor developed from user needs and Hitachi's original technology. HiKOKI is the new brand name for Hitachi. With a compact design and an overall length of only 294mm and it's fitted with LED Lights and a Blower function to keep the cutting line visible in all working conditions. The maintenence free brushless motor has up to 50% longer runtime per charge and is compatible with all Hitach 18V batteries. Designed with soft material on the housing of the motor and battery mount so the tool remains stable when placed on its side. This comes in handy when replacing the saw blade. The design also effectively prevents the work piece being scratched. The machine is sold in a cardboard carton without battery or charger.
